Kubota L3240DT Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checks

Check motor oil level. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Check engine air filter elements. Change if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering system, hand brake and service brakes. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Service fuel filter element. Engine fuel filter part number: 15521-43160.

Clean engine primary air filter element. Air filter part number - TA040-93230.

Clean engine secondary air filter element. Part number - TA040-93220.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Changing engine oil. Engine oil type - SAE30, SAE 10W-30, SAE20 or SAE 10W-40. API service classification CD, CE, or CF. How much to change: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1703-M-E2) - 6.0 qts (5.7 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Engine oil filter replacement. Engine oil filter part number: HH164-32430. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If necessary, add oil.

Every 400 hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended fluid type: Kubota UDT, Kubota Super UDT. How much is needed: Transmission/hydraulic system capacity - 11.1 gal (42 L). After changing the transmission/hydraulic fluid, check the level with a dipstick.

Replace hydraulic oil filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: HHTA0-37710. When the filter is replaced, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. If required, add it.

Replace engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 15521-43160. Check injection pump adjustments.

Change front axle oil. Front axle capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L). Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
