Kubota L3240GST Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Engine oil level checking. If the oil level is too low, add new oil.

Check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Engine primary/secondary air filters checking. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idling, steering unit, hand brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if required.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 hours

Inspect engine air filter elements. Clean as required. Engine primary air filter part number: TA040-93230. Engine secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Service fuel filter element. Fuel filter part number - 15521-43160.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil. Recommended engine oil type: SAE30, SAE 10W-30, SAE20 or SAE 10W-40. API service classification CD, CE, or CF. Lubricating system capacity (Kubota D1703-M-E2): 6.0 qts (5.7 L). After installing a new filter, check that the engine oil level is correct.

Replacing engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: HH164-32430. Before installing a new filter, clean the filter housing from clogging. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. Add oil if it is low.

Every 400 hours

Replace transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended transmission/hydraulic fluid type - Kubota UDT, Kubota Super UDT. How much to fill: System capacity: 11.1 gal (42 L). Check transmission/hydraulic oil level after replacement.

Changing hydraulic filter element. Hydraulic filter part number: HHTA0-37710. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is recommended. If required, add it.

Replace fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 15521-43160. Check the correct operation of fuel injection pump.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90. Front axle capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L).

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
