Kubota L3400DT Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Motor oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking. If transmission/hydraulic oil is too low, add recommended volume.

Checking engine primary and secondary air filter element. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check idle engine speed, steering system, service brakes and hand brake. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Engine oil change. Recommended motor oil: SAE20 or SAE 10W-30, 10W-40. API Service Classification CD, CE or CF. Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1703-MA-E2A) - 6.0 qts (5.7 L). After changing the oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Engine air filter elements servicing. Engine primary air filter part number: TA040-93230. Engine secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Inspect fuel filter. Service as required. Fuel filter part number - 6A320-59930.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Change engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: HH164-32430. When installing a new filter, flush the filter housing from dirt. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. If necessary, add it.

Changing hydraulic filter element. Hydraulic filter element part number - HH3A0-82623. When the filter is replaced, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Every 400 hours

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Fluid type - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 29.2 qts (27.5 L). After changing the transmission/hydraulic fluid, check the level with a dipstick.

Replace fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 6A320-59930. Check the efficiency of fuel injection pump.

Front axle fluid change. Front axle capacity: 4.8 qts (4.5 L). Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check level of battery electrolyte.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Check and adjust injector pump.
