Kubota L3400HST Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checking

Check the engine oil level. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking procedure. If transmission/hydraulic oil is too low, add recommended volume.

Check air filter elements. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine speed, steering, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any damage if required.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Change engine oil. Recommended engine oil: SAE20 or SAE 10W-30, 10W-40. API Service Classification CD, CE or CF. How much to pour: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1703-MA-E2A) - 6.0 qts (5.7 L). Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Clean fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 6A320-59930.

Service primary/secondary air filter elements. Engine primary air filter part number: TA040-93230. Engine secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Replacing engine oil filter. Filter part number - HH164-32430. Before installing a new filter, clean the filter housing from clogging. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. If required, add it.

Hydrostatic transmission fluid filter replacement. HST filter part number: HHK70-14073. After installing a new filter, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. Add transmission/hydraulic fluid if it is low.

Replace filter in hydraulic system. Hydraulic filter element part number - HH3A0-82623. Check the transmission/hydraulic oil level after installing a new filter element. If required, add it.

Every 400 hours

Change transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended oil - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic oil capacity: 25 qts (23.5 L). After completing the filling procedure, check transmission/hydraulic fluid level.

Change diesel fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 6A320-59930. Check the efficiency of fuel injection pump.

Front axle fluid change. Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90. Front axle capacity: 4.8 qts (4.5 L).

Replace filter and engine oil. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Change engine primary/secondary air cleaner element.

Install a new hydraulic filter and change transmission/hydraulic fluid.

Replace HST filter.

Drain water from fuel tank, then replace the fuel filter.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check and service the battery.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
