Kubota L3430HST Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checks

Engine oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Check transmission/hydraulic oil level. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Check engine air filter elements. Install a new filters if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine speed, steering, hand brake and service brakes. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Service primary/secondary air filter elements. Engine primary air filter part number: TA040-93230. Engine secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Inspect fuel filter. Service as required. Fuel filter part number - 15521-43160.

Engine oil change. Recommended oil type - SAE20 or SAE30, SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, 15W-40. API Service Classification CD, CE, CF or CG. How much is needed: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1703-MA) - 6.0 qts (5.7 L). Add oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Lubricate the front axle wheel bearings. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Engine oil filter replacement. Engine oil filter part number: HH164-32430. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Change hydrostatic transmission oil filter. HST filter part number: HHTA0-59900. After replacing the filter, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. If after checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is low, add it.

Change hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: HHTA0-37710. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is recommended. Add fluid if required.

Every 400 hours

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Recommended oil type - Kubota UDT, Kubota Super UDT. Transmission and hydraulic fluid capacity: 11.1 gal (42 L). When the procedure is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level.

Replace engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 15521-43160. Check diesel fuel pump settings.

Front axle lubricant change. Front axle capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L). Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Drain water from fuel tank, then replace the fuel filter.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
