John Deere 4320 Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Check engine oil level. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check hydraulic/transmission fluid level. When the hydraulic/transmission fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Check engine primary and secondary air filter elements. Replace if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idle speed, steering, service brakes and parking brake. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 200 hours

Engine oil change. Motor oil type: Plus-50, SAE 15W-40, 10W-40, 10W-30, 5W-30. API Service Category CH or higher. How much to fill: Engine Oil Capacity - 7.5 L (1.9 gal). After adding engine oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Replacing engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: RE519626 (Models w/Cab) / RE518977 (Models w/o Cab). Clean the filter housing from dirt before replacing the filter element. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If required, add it.

Engine air filter elements checking. Replace as required. Engine primary air filter part number: AP33330. Engine secondary air filter part number: AP33331.

Every 400 hours

Changing hydraulic/transmission fluid. Recommended oil type: Hy-Gard, JDM J20C or J20D. How much is required - Transmission and Hydraulic System Capacity: Gear Models - 38.9 L (10.3 gal), Hydrostatic Models - 36.1 L (9.6 gal). After adding hydraulic/transmission oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Replace filter in hydraulic/transmission system. Part number of hydraulic/transmission filter: LVA13038. After installing a new filter, check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. If after checking the hydraulic fluid level is low, add it.

Replace engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - RE508202. Inspect injection pump settings.

Every 600 Hours

Change front axle lubricant. Front axle oil - Hy-Gard. Front Axle Capacity - 5.0 L (1.3 gal).

Check in-line hydraulic filter. Part Number: LVA12726. Clean if required.

Check cab fresh air filter. Change if necessary. Air filter part number - MIU10010.

Inspect cab recirculation air filter. Replace as required. Part number - MIU10011.

Change engine oil and filter. Check and clean the oil system.

Replace engine primary/secondary air filter elements.

Install a new hydraulic/transmission filter.

Change hydraulic/transmission fluid.

Clean in-line hydraulic filter.

Service or replace cab air filters (Tractors w/Cab).

Change the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling System Capacity: Tractors w/Cab - 6.2 L (1.6 gal), Tractors w/o Cab - 8.4 L (2.2 gal).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charge.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust injection pump.
