Kubota L4060HST Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checking

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, fill in new oil.

Engine air filters checking. Install a new filter if required.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idle speed, steering unit, service brakes and hand brake. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Clean engine primary air filter element. Replace as required. Air filter part number - TD270-93232.

Service engine secondary air filter element. Change as required. Part number - TA040-93220.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

Hydrostatic transmission filter changing. HST filter part number: HHTA0-59900. After installing a new filter, check the transmission/hydraulic oil. Add oil if required.

Every 400 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended oil type: SAE 20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30, 15W-40. API Service Classification CC, CD, CF or CJ-4. Lubricating system capacity (Kubota V2403-CRE): 8.7 qts (8.2 L). Add oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Replace engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: HH164-32430. Flush the filter housing before the filter element replacement procedure. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If necessary, add it.

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended fluid type: Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 45.6 qts (43.0 L). After installing a new filter, check that the transmission/hydraulic oil level is correct.

Hydraulic filter replacement. Part number of hydraulic filter: HHTA0-37710. After installing a new filter, check the transmission/hydraulic oil. If necessary, add it.

Inspect and service engine air filters. Replace as required.

Replace engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 1J800-43172. Check injection pump settings.

Change front axle oil. Front Axle Oil: SAE 80W-90. Front axle case capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L).

Change the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 7.9 qts (7.5 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injectors.
