Kubota L4060HSTC Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checks

Check motor oil level. If the oil level is too low, add new oil.

Check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. If the transmission/hydraulic fluid is too low, fill the required volume.

Checking engine air filters. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine idle speed, steering, service brakes and hand brake. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Clean engine primary air filter element. Change if necessary.

Service engine secondary air filter element. Replace as required.

Lubricate the front axle wheel bearings. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

HST filter changing. Hydrostatic transmission filter part number - HHTA0-59900. When installation is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. If after checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is low, add it.

Every 400 Hours

Engine oil change. Recommended engine oil type: SAE 20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30, 15W-40. API Service Classification CC, CD, CF or CJ-4. Oil system capacity (Kubota V2403-CRE): 8.7 qts (8.2 L). After adding engine oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Replacing engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: HH164-32430. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. Add oil if required.

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Fluid type - Kubota Super UDT. How much to pour: Transmission/hydraulic system capacity - 45.6 qts (43.0 L). After adding transmission/hydraulic fluid, check the level with a dipstick.

Replace filter element in hydraulic line. Hydraulic filter part number: HHTA0-37710. After replacing the filter, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. Add transmission/hydraulic oil if it is low.

Change engine air filters. Engine primary air filter part number: TD270-93232. Engine secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Change fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 1J800-43172. Check diesel fuel pump performance.

Change front axle lubricant. Front axle case capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L). Front Axle Oil: SAE 80W-90.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 7.9 qts (7.5 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charge.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
