Massey Ferguson 1210 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Check motor oil level. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Check the transmission fluid level. If the transmission fluid is too low, add it.

Checking air filter. Install a new filter element if necessary.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering, service brakes and hand brake. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Every 150 Hours

Engine oil change. Recommended motor oil: 10W-30, 15W-40, 20W-40. How much is needed: Engine Oil Capacity - 3.3 qt (3.1 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Change engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: 72201898. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Inspect all tires. Inflate tires if necessary.

Inspect the battery. Clean the terminals as required.

Checking the oil in front axle. Fill as required.

Checking hydraulic fluid in system. Add oil if necessary.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings.

Check tractor for lost or loose screws and nuts.

Every 200 hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic fluid. Transmission/hydraulic fluid type - Permatran 821XL, SAE 10W-30. How much to pour: Transmission Oil Capacity - 10.5 qt (10.1 L). Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic fluid up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Perform hydraulic filter replacement. Part number of hydraulic filter: Spin-on 3609567M1/3709215M1 (Hydrostatic Transmission) and Element 3709210M91 (Manual Transmission). After installation, checking the hydraulic fluid level is recommended. If necessary, add it.

Replace steering filter element and change oil. Steering filter element part number - 3709106M91. Steering Oil Type - Permatran. Steering Oil Capacity - 1.2 qt (1.1 L).

Check the air filter element and clean if required.

Clean radiator fins from dirt.

Inspect and adjust fan/alternator belt. If the belt is worn, replace it.

Check the torque of the wheel bolts.

Every 300 Hours

Replacing engine air filter elements. Engine air filter part number: 3710898M91.

Replace fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 3608255M1. Check diesel fuel pump settings.

Check radiator coolant. Add coolant if necessary.

Check engine idling. If necessary, adjust the engine idle speed.

Check the hoses and fittings. Tighten if necessary.

Change front axle oil. Front Axle Oil Type - Permatran. Front Axle Oil Capacity - 4.2 qt (4.1 L).

Check and adjust the parking and service brakes.

Check and service the battery.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injector pump.
