Massey Ferguson 30 Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily

Check the engine oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Transmission fluid level checking procedure. When the transmission fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Check air filter. Replace if required.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, hand brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if necessary.

Every 100 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended motor oil: 10W-30, 15W-40, 20W-40. How much to pour: Engine Oil Capacity - 8.5 qt (8 L). When the procedure is complete, check the engine oil level.

Replacing engine oil filter element. Oil filter part number: 1447082M2 (Diesel) or 1447048M2 (Gas). Oil filter part number element: 837595V91 for diesel and 1882916V91 for gasoline engine. Flush the filter housing before the filter element replacement procedure. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. Add oil if required.

Checking the air pressure of tyres. Inflate if required.

Check the battery. Clean battery terminals if necessary.

Check front axle oil level. Add if required.

Check hydraulic system oil level. If necessary, add hydraulic fluid to the system.

Check tractor for loose or lost nuts and screws.

Every 250 hours

Clean radiator surface from dirt.

Inspect fan/alternator belt. Change if necessary.

Check the tightening torque of the wheel bolts.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings.

Every 500 hours

Replace fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 836218V92 / 505472M91 - Gas Sediment Bowl. Check diesel fuel pump adjustment.

Check engine primary air filter elements. Change as required. Primary air filter element part number: 1026131V92.

Inspect and service engine secondary air filter. Part number: 1094269M91.

Check cooling system for leaks. Add coolant if necessary.

Every 750 Hours

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Transmission/hydraulic fluid type - Permatran 821XL, SAE 10W-30. How much to fill: Transmission Oil Capacity - 8 gal (30.3 L) for Manual shuttle transmission, 11.3 gal (42.8 L) for Instant reverse transmission. After filling, check the transmission oil level with a dipstick.

Replace hydraulic filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: 1508998M91 (Oil Cooler Lines), 521451M1 (Lift Pump). When installation is complete, check the hydraulic fluid level. Add oil if required.

Service or replace the steering filter. Part number - 1019235M91 (Element). Change oil if required. Steering Oil Capacity - 1.3 qt (1.2 L).

Check engine idling. Adjust engine idle as required.

Check the hoses and fittings. Tighten if necessary.

Front axle fluid change.

Check and adjust the service and parking brakes.

Change the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 10.5 qt (10 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injector pump/carburetor.
