Ford 3910 Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Check engine oil level. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking procedure. If the transmission/hydraulic fluid is too low, fill the required volume.

Engine air filters checking. Replace if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idling, steering system, service brakes and parking brake. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 300 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended oil type: SAE 15W-40, 10W-30, 15W-30, SAE 10W, 20W-20. How much is required: Engine Oil Capacity - 7 qt (6.6 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Replace engine oil filter. Filter part number - 86546614 or E8NN6714AA. Before replacing, remove dirt from the filter housing. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. Add oil if required.

Check engine air filters. Clean if necessary.

Inspect engine fuel filter element. Service if necessary.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings.

Every 600 Hours

Changing primary and secondary air filter elements. Air filter part number - 84493216 or 86525008, E9NN9B618AA or D6NN9601B.

Steering oil change. Recommended oil - 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much is needed: Steering Oil Capacity - 1.9 qt (1.8 L). Add steering fluid to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Replacing power steering filter. Steering oil filter part number: EDPN3K758A. When the filter is replaced, check the steering oil level. If required, add it.

Every 1200 Hours

Transmission fluid change. Recommended oil - 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much is needed: Oil Capacity: 3.1 gal (11.5 L) 8x2 transmission, 2.5 gal (9.5 L) 8x4 transmission. Add transmission fluid to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Hydraulic oil change. Hydraulic Oil Type - 134D, SAE 10W-30. Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 6.2 gal (23.3 L). Check the hydraulic oil level. If required, add it.

Changing hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: 84518613 or D6NNB486A. After replacing the filter element, check the hydraulic fluid level. Add hydraulic fluid if it is low.

Replace engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 84535312 or EDPN9N074AA. Check the correct operation of fuel injection pump.

Front axle oil change. Front Axle Oil Capacity - 5.8 qt (5.5 L). Front Axle Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube 80W-90.

Change engine oil and filter. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Change air filter elements.

Install a new power steering filter and fill with fresh steering oil.

Replace hydraulic filter and change hydraulic fluid.

Change transmission oil.

Replace the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling System Capacity - 11 qt (10.4 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Check and adjust injection pump.
