Ford 1700 Inspection and Maintenance

Ford 1700 Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checking

Check motor oil level. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Check transmission/hydraulic oil level. If the transmission/hydraulic fluid is too low, fill the required volume.

Checking air filter. Install a new filter if required.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check idle engine speed, steering, hand brake and service brakes. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Check engine air filter element. Change if necessary. Part number - SBA314530122.

Engine oil change. Engine oil type - SAE 10W-40, 15W-40, 10W-30, 15W-30, SAE 20W-20. How much to pour: Engine Oil Capacity: 5.3 qt (5 L) with 2WD, 4.8 qt (4.5 L) with 4WD. After replacing the engine oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Check and clean the engine fuel filter.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings.

Every 200 Hours

Engine oil filter changing. Oil filter part number: 86546613 / E1NN6714BB. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is recommended. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. Add oil if required.

Change engine fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 87300039 / SBA360720020. Check the efficiency of injection pump.

Every 300 Hours

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended oil: 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much is required: Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 5.8 gal (21.8 L). After filling, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level with a dipstick.

Changing hydraulic filter. After installing a new filter, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. If required, add it.

Change front axle lubricant. Front Axle Capacity - 2.7 qt (2.5 L). Front Axle Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube 80W-90.

Replace filter and engine oil. Service oil system components.

Change air filter element.

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid.

Replace hydraulic filter.

Replace the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 5.6 qt (5.3 L).

Inspect all clamps and hoses.

Check battery charge.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
