Ford 4110 Inspection and Maintenance

Ford 4110 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Motor oil level checking. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, fill in new oil.

Engine air filters checking. Replace if necessary.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idle speed, steering unit, service brakes and parking brake. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 300 Hours

Engine oil change. Recommended oil type: SAE 15W-40, 10W-30, SAE 10W. Lubricating system capacity - 7 qt (6.6 L). When the procedure is complete, check the engine oil level.

Change engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number - 86546614 or E8NN6714AA. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If required, add it.

Inspect engine primary and secondary air filter elements. Service as required.

Check and clean the engine fuel filter.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Every 600 Hours

Change steering fluid. Recommended oil - 134D, Gearlube LS 80W-90. How much to add: Steering Oil Capacity - 2.3 qt (2.2 L). After completing the filling procedure, check steering fluid level.

Replace power steering oil filter. Steering filter part number - EDPN3K758A. After replacing the filter, check the steering oil level. Add fluid if required.

Change air filter elements. Engine air filter part number: 84493216 or 86525008, E9NN9B618AA or D6NN9601B.

Every 1200 Hours

Changing transmission fluid. Recommended oil - 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much to add: Transmission Oil Capacity - 3.3 gal (12.5 L) with 8x2 Trans, 2.5 gal (9.5 L) with 8x4 Trans, 3.2 gal (12 L) with Select-O-Speed. After completing the filling procedure, check transmission fluid level.

Change hydraulic oil. Hydraulic oil type - 134D, SAE 10W-30. Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 6.3 gal (23.8 L). After changing check the hydraulic oil level. Add fluid if required.

Replace hydraulic filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: 84518613 or D6NNB486A. After installation, checking the hydraulic oil level is recommended. Add fluid if necessary.

Change fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 84535312 or VPD6851. Check injection pump settings.

Front axle oil change. Front Axle Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube 80W-90. Front Axle Capacity - 5.8 qt (5.5 L).

Replace filter and engine oil. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Replace air cleaner elements.

Change transmission and hydraulic oil.

Replace hydraulic filter.

Install a new power steering filter.

Change steering fluid.

Drain water from fuel tank and replace fuel filter.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 14 qt (13.2 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
