Ford 2120 Inspection and Maintenance

Ford 2120 Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checking

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking procedure. If the transmission/hydraulic fluid is too low, fill the required volume.

Engine air filter checking. Replace if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine idle speed, steering unit, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any damage if necessary.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Engine oil change. Engine oil type - SAE 15W-40, 10W-30, SAE 10W. Engine oil system capacity: 8.5 qt (8 L). After filling, check the engine oil level with a dipstick.

Inspect engine air filter element. Clean if required.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Every 200 Hours

Change air filter element. Engine air filter part number - 86512889.

Replacing engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: SBA140516230 / 84475542. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is required. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If required, add it.

Change fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 87300041. Check the correct operation of fuel injection pump.

Every 300 Hours

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Recommended fluid type - 134D, SAE 10W-30. Transmission/hydraulic system capacity: 8.7 gal (33 L). After replacing the transmission/hydraulic fluid, check the level with a dipstick.

Replace hydraulic filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: 4245130 / SBA340500730. When installation procedure is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. If necessary, add it.

Front axle lubricant change. Front Axle Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube 80W-90. Front Axle Capacity - 4.4 qt (4.2 L). Steering Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube LS 80W-90. Steering Oil Capacity - 1.9 qt (1.8 L).

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling System Capacity - 8.5 qt (8 L).

Inspect all clamps and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
