Carburetor Adjustment

1) Idle mixture adjustment - Turn pilot screw clockwise until just closes.
2) Do not turn screw in too far to avoid pointed end damaged.
3) Open screw by turning 1-1/2 counterclockwise as initial setting.
4) Start and allow engine to warm.
5) Move speed control lever or throttle lever on equipment to "idle" position.
6) Adjust throttle stop screw to obtain 1550 RPM by turning it in or out.
7) Adjust pilot screw by turning clockwise (lean) or counterclockwise (rich) to obtain peak of idling.
8) Then turn out pilot screw 1/4 more from peak.
9) Re-adjust throttle stop screw to obtain and satisfy specified 1550 RPM idling.
