John Deere 2025R Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily

Check the engine oil level. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Check transmission oil level. When transmission oil is low, fill in new oil.

Check primary and secondary air filter. Replace if necessary.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine speed, steering, service brakes and hand brake. If you found a problem, fix it.

Every 50 Hours

Inspect all tires. Inflate tires if necessary.

Check battery condition. Charge or replace.

Checking the oil in front axle. Fill as required.

Check oil in hydraulic system. Add if required.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Check wheels and tighten nuts and bolts if required.

Every 200 hours

Change engine oil. Recommended motor oil: Plus-50. Lubricating system capacity: for 2016 models - 3.2 L (0.84 gal), for 2017 models - 2.7 L (0.59 gal). Check motor oil level after changing.

Replace oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: M806418. Clean the filter housing from dirt before replacing the filter element. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If necessary, add it.

Replace transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended oil type - Hy-Gard. How much to fill - 13.1 L (3.5 gal) for 2016 models, 14.4 L (3.17 gal) for 2017 models. Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Transmission oil filter replacement. Oil filter part number: LVA802810 (2016 models) and LVA16054 (2017 models). Replace initially after 50 hours, then every 200 hours. After replacing the filter, check the transmission fluid level. If after checking the transmission oil level is low, add it.

Replace filter in hydraulic system. Part number of hydraulic filter element - AL221066. After installation, checking the hydraulic oil level is recommended. Add oil if necessary.

Check and service engine primary and secondary air filter elements. Replace as required per conditions.

Clean radiator fins from dirt.

Inspect fan/alternator belt. Replace if necessary.

Check the tightening torque of the front and rear hub bolts.

Every 400 Hours

Changing engine primary air filter element. Air filter part number - M131802.

Replace engine primary secondary air filter element. Part number - M131803.

Replace engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: M801101. Check diesel fuel pump operation.

Change the inline fuel filter. Part number: AM116304 (2017 models).

Check the coolant in radiator. Add coolant if necessary.

Check engine low idle speed. If necessary, adjust the idle speed on the engine.

Check the fittings and hoses. Tighten as required.

Front axle fluid change.

Check and adjust the brake system components.

Replace filter and engine oil. Service oil system components.

Replace air filter elements.

Change transmission filter and oil.

Replace hydraulic filter and oil.

Change the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 3.2 L (0.84 gal) for 2016 models, 3.7 L (0.81 gal) for 2017 models.

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check level of battery electrolyte.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
