John Deere 2350 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Check transmission oil level. If transmission oil is too low, fill in new oil.

Check cab recirculation air filter. Part number - R65450. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Check cab recirculation air filter. Part number - L38598. Replace as required.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idling, steering system, hand brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if necessary.

Every 50 Hours

Inspect tires and check inflation pressure. If required, add air to tires.

Test battery charging. If the charge level is low, charge the battery.

Check front axle oil level. Add if required.

Check hydraulic oil level. Fill the hydraulic system as required.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Check front and rear wheels. Tighten bolts and nuts as required.

Every 200 hours

Inspect the primary air filter and clean if necessary. Engine primary air filter part number: AR84228. Clean as required. Change primary air filter if air cleaner indicator light continues to glow.

Engine secondary air filter replacement. Air filter element part number: AE31724. Never clean. Replace at every third change of primary air filter.

Clean the radiator grill from dirt and dust.

Inspect alternator/fan belt. Replace if necessary.

Check the tightening torque of the hub bolts.

Every 500 Hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended motor oil: Plus-50 or SAE 15W-40, classification CD, CC, SD. How much to change - 8.5 L (2.25 gal). After replacing the engine oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Oil filter changing. Engine oil filter part number: T19044. Before installing a new filter, clean the filter housing from clogging. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If necessary, add it. Change after first 100 hours, then after first 500 hours and every 500 hours. Change oil and filter after every 250 hours, if conditions are not met.

Change hydraulic/transmission oil. Recommended fluid: Hy-Gard. How much to change - 33.0 L (8.7 gal) for Collarshift transmission and 45.0 L (11.9 gal) for Synchronized transmission. After filling, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level with a dipstick.

Transmission oil filter replacement. Transmission fluid filter part number: AR75603. After replacing the filter, check the transmission oil level. Add oil if necessary. Replace after first 50 hours, then after first 500 hours and every 500 hours thereafter. Change return flow filter as well.

Perform return flow filter replacement. Part number of hydraulic filter: AL56469 / RE34958. When installation procedure is complete, check the hydraulic oil level. If after checking the hydraulic oil level is low, add it.

Change engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number: AR50041. Check the efficiency of injection pump.

Check cooling system for leaks. If coolant is low, top up.

Check engine idling. Adjust engine idle if necessary.

Inspect and tighten all hoses and clamps.

Front axle oil change.

Check and adjust the brake system components.

Change the hydrostatic steering oil filter. Part number: AL31413.

Drain water from fuel tank and replace fuel filters.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. John Deere 2350 cooling system capacity: 13 L (3.4 gal).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injector pump.
