John Deere 5075E Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Motor oil level checking. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Check the transmission oil level. If transmission oil is too low, fill in new oil.

Check air filter. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check idle engine speed, steering system, hand brake and service brakes. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Every 50 Hours

Check tires and inflate if required.

Check the battery. Clean battery terminals if necessary.

Checking the oil in front axle. Add oil if necessary.

Check oil level in the hydraulic tank. Add oil if necessary.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings.

Check tractor for loose or lost nuts and screws.

Every 250 hours

Replace engine oil. Recommended motor oil type - 15W-40 API classification CJ-4 or Plus-50. How much to fill - 8.5 L (2.24 gal). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Oil filter changing. Filter part number - RE519626. Clean the filter housing from dirt before replacing the filter element. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. Add oil if it is low.

Change transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended oil - Hy-Gard. How much to pour: Sync Shuttle transmission - 38 L (10 gal) and PowrReverser transmission - 43.5 L (11.5 gal). Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Change filter in transmission/hydraulic system. Part number of transmission/hydraulic filter element - RE45864. After replacing the filter element, check the hydraulic fluid level. Add oil if necessary.

Clean engine primary air filter elements. Engine air filter part number: RE282286.

Inspect the engine secondary air filter element and clean if necessary. Part number: RE282287.

Clean the radiator grill from dirt and dust.

Check fan/alternator belt for wear. A worn belt should be replaced.

Check the tightening torque of the hub bolts.

Every 500 Hours

Replace diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: RE60021. Check diesel fuel pump operation.

Check diesel particulate filter. Part number: RE567056. Replace as required.

Inspect and clean cab fresh air filter. Part number: RE198488.

Check cab recirculation air filter. Clean after every 500 hours and change every 1200 hours. Part number: RE195491.

Check radiator coolant. If coolant is low, top up.

Check engine low idle speed. Adjust if necessary.

Check the tubes and hoses. Tighten if necessary.

Change front axle oil.

Adjust parking and service brakes.

Change engine oil and filter. Service oil system components.

Clean or install a new air filter elements.

Change hydraulic/transmission filter and oil.

Change the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 9.5 L (2.5 gal).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
