John Deere 2755 Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily

Check the engine oil level. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Transmission oil level checking. If transmission oil is too low, add recommended volume.

Check cab recirculation air filter. Part number - R65450. Change as required.

Check cab recirculation air filter. Part number - L38598. Replace if required.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check idle engine speed, steering unit, parking brake and service brakes. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Every 50 Hours

Inspect tires and inflate if necessary.

Check battery condition. Charge or replace.

Check front axle oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Check oil level in the hydraulic tank. Fill as required.

Lubricate the front axle wheel bearings.

Inspect the rear and front wheels. Tighten nuts and bolts as required.

Every 200 hours

Change engine primary air filter. Air filter element part number: AZ20623. Replace primary air filter if air cleaner indicator light continues to glow.

Inspect and service engine secondary air filter. Part number: AL67195. Never clean. Replace at every third change of primary air filter.

Remove dirt from radiator fins with a brush.

Inspect and adjust alternator/fan belt. Replace if belt is worn.

Check the tightening torque of the front and rear hub bolts.

Every 500 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended oil type: Plus-50 or SAE 15W-40, classification CD, CC, SD. How much to fill - 10.0 L (2.6 gal). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Engine oil filter replacement. Engine oil filter part number: T19044. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is required. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. If necessary, add oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Recommended oil type: Hy-Gard. John Deere 2755 transmission oil capacity: 45.5 L (12.0 gal) with MFWD, 42.5 L (11.2 gal) without MFWD, 47.5 L (12.5 gal) with front PTO. Check transmission/hydraulic oil level after changing.

Replace transmission fluid filter. Transmission oil filter part number: AR75603. After installing a new filter, check the transmission oil. If necessary, add it. Change return flow filter as well.

Change return flow filter in hydraulic system. Hydraulic filter part number - AL56469 / RE34958. After replacing the filter element, check the hydraulic fluid level. Add fluid if required.

Change engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - AR50041. Check the correct operation of injection pump.

Check radiator coolant. If coolant is low, top up.

Check engine idle. Adjust engine idle as required.

Inspect all tubes and hoses. Tighten as required.

Front axle oil change.

Check brake adjustment.

Annually

Change filter and engine oil. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Install a new air filter elements.

Install a new transmission filter and fill with fresh oil.

Change hydraulic filter and fill the hydraulic system with fresh oil.

Replace hydrostatic steering oil filter (part number: AL31413) after every 1200 hours.

Drain water from fuel tank and change fuel filters.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 13 L (3.4 gal).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel fuel pump.
