John Deere 3010 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Transmission oil level checking procedure. When the transmission fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Check air filter. Replace if necessary.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine speed, steering, parking brake and service brakes. If you found a problem, fix it.

Every 50 Hours

Checking the air pressure of tyres. Inflate if required.

Inspect the battery. Clean the terminals as required.

Check front axle oil level. Top up as necessary.

Check the hydraulic oil level in system. If necessary, add hydraulic oil to the system.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings.

Check rear and front wheels. Tighten nuts and bolts as required.

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil. Motor oil type: SAE 20 API, classification DC or Torq-Gard. John Deere 3010 oil system capacity: 7.6 L (8.0 qts). Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Change engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: AR26350. Sealing washer - B3586R. Replace every 200h, before and after winter season, and each time oil is changed. When installing a new filter, flush the filter housing from dirt. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. If required, add it.

Replace transmission/hydraulic oil. Transmission fluid type - Hy-Gard or Special 303. Transmission/hydraulic oil capacity: 36 L (9.5 gal). After changing the transmission oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Transmission oil filter changing. Oil filter part number: AR75603. Replace after initial 200h, then every 600 hours. When installation is complete, check the transmission oil level. If required, add it.

Perform hydraulic filter replacement. Part number of hydraulic filter element - R27173. Clean valve filter every 1200h. After installation, checking the hydraulic oil level is recommended. Add fluid if required.

Check the air filter element and clean if required.

Clean the radiator fins with a brush from dust.

Inspect the fan/alternator belt and if it is worn, replace it.

Check the torque of the wheel bolts.

Every 600 Hours

Changing air filter elements. Air filter part number - AT68184.

Replace diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: AR44077. Check diesel fuel pump settings.

Check the coolant in radiator. Add coolant if necessary.

Check engine idle. If necessary, adjust the engine idle speed.

Inspect all fittings and hoses. Tighten as required.

Front axle fluid change.

Check brake adjustment.

Annually

Replace filter and engine oil. Service lubricating system components.

Install a new air filter elements.

Change transmission filter and fluid.

Replace hydraulic filter and fluid.

Change the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 15 L (4 gal). Coolant type - Cool-Gard II.

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
