Engine is overheated: Defective radiator cap or clogged radiator core. Change cap or clean radiator. Insufficient coolant. Top up coolant fluid and check system for leaks. Excessive wear of the fan belt. Install new fan belt. Not enough engine oil. Check and refill engine oil.
