John Deere 6115D Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Check the engine oil level. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Check engine air filter elements. Install a new filters if required.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, hand brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if required.

Every 50 Hours

Check tyre pressure. If the tyre pressure is low, inflate the tyres.

Check battery charging. Replace or charge the battery if required.

Check front axle oil level. Fill as required.

Check hydraulic system oil level. Add oil to hydraulic system if necessary.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings.

Check wheels and tighten screws and nuts if required.

Every 250 hours

Check and service cab fresh air filter and recirculation air filter. Change as required.

Engine air filter elements checking. Replace as required. Engine primary air filter part number: AL172780. Engine secondary air filter part number: AL150288.

Clean the radiator with a brush if the fins are dirty.

Check alternator/fan belt tension. Adjust if necessary.

Check wheel bolt torque.

Every 500 Hours

Changing engine oil. Engine oil type - Plus-50, SAE 10W-40, 10W-30, 5W-30. API Service Category CJ-4, CI-4, CH-4. Lubricating system capacity - 12 L (3.2 gal). After filling, check the engine oil level with a dipstick.

Oil filter changing. Engine oil filter part number: RE504836. Before replacement procedure, clean the filter housing from dirt. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if it is low.

Replace transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended oil type - Hy-Gard 2, JDM J20C, JDM J20D. How much to change: Transmission/hydraulic capacity - 58 L (15.3 gal). Check transmission fluid level after replacement.

Changing hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter element part number - SJ11792. When the filter is replaced, check the hydraulic oil level. Add oil if required.

Check cab fresh air filter. Change as required. Part Number: RE198488.

Clean cab air filter. Change as required. Part Number: AL177184.

Service cab recirculation air filter. Change as required. Part Number: RE195491.

Replace engine primary fuel filter element. Part number - RE541922.

Replace engine final fuel filter element. Part number - RE526557.

Check the coolant in radiator. Top up if required.

Check engine idle. Adjust if necessary.

Inspect all tubes and hoses. Tighten as required.

Change front axle lubricant. Front axle capacity: 6.5 L (1.72 gal).

Check brake adjustment.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 16.5 L (4.4 gal).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust injector pump.
