John Deere 2320 Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking. If the transmission/hydraulic fluid is too low, add it.

Checking engine primary/secondary air filter. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, service brakes and hand brake. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Every 50 Hours

Inspect rear and front tires. If required, inflate the tires.

Check battery condition. Charge or replace.

Check front axle oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Check hydraulic fluid level. If necessary, add hydraulic fluid to the system.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Inspect wheels and tighten bolts and nuts if necessary.

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil. Motor oil type: Plus-50, SAE 10W-40, 15W-40, 10W-30. API Service Category CD, CC, SD. How much is needed: Engine Oil Capacity - 3.2 L (0.84 gal). When the procedure is complete, check the engine oil level.

Change engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: M806418. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. When the filter is replaced, check the oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Recommended transmission/hydraulic oil type: Hy-Gard. How much is required: Transmission and Hydraulic System Capacity - 13.1 L (3.5 gal). After completing the filling procedure, check transmission/hydraulic fluid level.

Transmission fluid filter replacement. Oil filter part number: AL221066. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is recommended. Add fluid if required.

Replace hydraulic filter element. Hydraulic filter element part number - LVA802810. Check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level after installing a new filter. If necessary, add it.

Front axle oil change. Front Axle Capacity - 3.4 L (0.89 gal). Front Axle Oil Type - GL-5.

Every 250 Hours

Check engine primary air filter element. Replace annually, and as required. Air filter part number - M131802.

Inspect engine secondary air filter element. Replace annually, and as required. Part number - M131803.

Clean the radiator grill from dirt and dust.

Inspect and adjust alternator/fan belt. Replace if belt is worn.

Check the tightening torque of the hub bolts.

Every 400 Hours

Change fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: M801101. Check diesel fuel pump adjustment.

Check the coolant in radiator. Add coolant if necessary.

Check engine idle speed. If necessary, adjust the idle speed on the engine.

Check and tighten the hoses and hose clamps.

Check brake adjustment.

Replace filter and engine oil. Check and clean the oil system.

Replace engine air cleaner elements.

Change transmission/hydraulic oil.

Change transmission filter.

Change hydraulic filter.

Drain water from fuel tank and replace fuel filters.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 3.2 L (0.84 gal).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel fuel pump.
